Your excursions4all representative will meet you in the Hotel reception to take you by coach to begin your adventure. The ‘Valley of Camels’ is situated 55km south of Marsa Alam. On arrival you will receive a welcome drink, as you watch a movie inside an Arabian style tent, giving a brief history and explanation of the region from the Pharos period until the present day (approx. 20 mins duration) After the movie, you will be introduced to your chosen form of transport, either camel, or a camel carriage. You will ride for approx. 45 mins. During this time you will experience what it must have been like before the car, and also discover the beautiful mountains and the different kinds of desert trees that grow in the Wadi. You will be greeted by the local Bedouins and invited to join them to drink Gabna – a special Bedouin tea, which is very good for the body, containing different herbs that will help you calm and relax. Or try Gabarite, and white camel cheese, or see how bread was made by the Bedouins. At sunset, we begin the journey back to the camp, where dinner will be waiting you. Served in the Arabian tent with a special Beja show.
This trip is a must if you want a relaxing evening or if you’re interested in learning about the area's ecology, history and local life style or a good photo opportunity. Whatever the reason, a day at the camel valley is a must. Ending the evening with a drive back to your hotel accompanied by your excursions4all.com representative.
